Situated on a peninsula, we are surrounded by lake. The only thing better than watching the sunset is watching the sunrise. A personal favourite is sitting on the lakeshore at midnight viewing a sky full of stars. Getting to Whistler can be an incredible experience. Flights deliver Whistler-bound guests at the international airport in Vancouver. From there, you travel 75 miles north along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99). The well-marked road hugs the mountains, first overlooking the ocean, then overlooking the valleys, rivers and meadows that offer up generous views between the city and mountain resort.
