Bloody Hell! Hotel Room Prices for 2010 Pricey

Apparantely, one of the first hotel-flight packages for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics is charging about $1,400 a night for a room that usually costs $289 during the height of the summer season.
Whistler Blackcomb village in Whistler, BC, CanadaOk – now you’ve heard us talk about Whistler and Vancouver accommodations already, and where and how to shop around for good deals for your vacation rentals, but come on, BC is taxed enough and now someone is charging $1,400 a night for expensive Vancouver Olympic accommodations! That’s Sea to Sky highway robbery!

Even Tourism Vancouver is hoping people who come to B.C. for the Olympics will fall in love with the city, and come back – noting that for that to happen, they’ll have to feel they’re getting good value for their money. So to over charge for Olympic accommodations is a concern many hotels and home owners of vacation rentals will have to be aware. Whistler Canada has numerous places for rent for people visiting for the Olympics. The Whistler lodging in the popular ski resort is definately an experience all visitors to Vancouver, BC and Whistler BC need to experience.

Whistler British Columbia accommodations by home owners is an excellent option for people spending their vacations in Whistler, Canada. Sure, the Olympics are coming in 2010, but why wait to visit Vancouver and Whistler then. Whistler Blackcomb has so much to offer during the summer and winter months, it makes the perfect getaway to experience nature at it’s finest.

Whistler vacation rentals are in abudance in Whistler and surrounding cities as Squamish and Vancouver. Though the key is to find the resort or condo that best meets your budget with the ideal amenities. Whistler ski resort has some solid accommodations to rent, though half of these vacation rentals are in the village and owned by property management companies or hotels – which is where costs can get you in the back pocket.

Accommodations in Whistler can be found in the surrounding sub divisions of the prestine city. Even if you can’t stay in Whistler, British Columbia has numerous vacation rentals where you can experience the true outdoors of BC, Canada.

Whistler mountain accommodations and vacation rentals can be found in hotels, condos, apartments, chalets, cottages, town homes and many other types – it really depends what you’re looking for. Personally, I like the Whistler chalets and cottages in the winter months – the give the real feeling of the warm fuzzies with the hot tubs, snow, drinks and partying. Just like those Moslen beer commericals.
