At the Whistler’s Fairmont Mallard Lounge Cameron Diaz , Tom Cruise and Justin Timberlake have at many times relaxed in this luxurious hideaway. And of course we can’t leave out Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell! They too have spent a lot of time in Whistler.

With ten whole days of free and wonderful concerts, photo and movie displays, give-aways, fashion shows and more, Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival has drawn over 110,000 visitors to Whistler to attend the festival, making a $30 million economic impact on the community. And (more…)

Right up through the end of May, Whistler has extended the ski season this year due to it being the 2nd most snow packed on record! Allowing visitors to “have their cake and eat it too” by being able to combine snowboarding or skiing with biking and golf all in the same day.

Vancouver based band Black Mountain still hasn’t played Whistler even though they have been in this area for over six years. Never had the opportunity really crossed the minds of the band that’s currently touring Europe, though Black Mountain’s bassist used to play there with his old band, the Black Halos. (more…)
