It depends on when you want to go, but keep in mind that the Christmas and New Year time of year makes for high prices. Those prices drop a lot in the latter part of March and April. In the middle of February you can grab a room at the hotel Listel right in the village of Whistler for about 30% cheaper than the usual price. The resort has an official bureau for visitors that also carries offers for discounts on lodging including last minute grabs on deals that even include an extra night or free parking.
