The Fall Season on Whistler Mountain

Many people don’t realize that fall is actually the most beautiful season in
Whistler, and while most of Whistler’s visitors are keenly awaiting the ski season, those in the know are keenly aware that the fall season offers cheaper accommodation, that’s easier than ever to book (due to less competition), as well as plenty of activities you can enjoy during the beautiful fall season on Whistler mountain.
Whistler’s Walking Trails
There are a number of beautiful walking trails around Whistler mountain. One is the paved Valley Trail, which is snow free during the fall months, and offers a wonderful way to see the mountain. It’s also a very inexpensive activity for those on a budget, and it’s great exercise for fitness fanatics. It’s possible to either walk or bike the 30 kilometers of trails wending from Whistler Village to the various lakes and parks. You can also get to the Whistler Golf Club or to Lost Lake Park, which offers trails for both mountain biking and hiking. (more…)
